Let's see your Queen & S&M Barlows

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

Let's see your Queen & S&M Barlows

How about a thread about Queen Barlows?
Post pics if you have 'em.
These are the only three that I own but I'm on the look out for more.

Top is a 1972 Drake Well (pattern #22), Middle is a pattern #23 circa 1945-55, Bottom is a pattern #60 single blade circa 1977-81 (aluminum frame and Delrin handles).

Forgot about this one. It's a Queen Bicentennial Daddy Barlow that someone re-worked with stag and file work.

This S&M #69 in winter bottom bone is the only one I own. I love this knife though, not just for the beauty in the bone handles but also because it has perfect action and snap on opening and closing.

A few that I own, the Winchester is a factory prototype, 6 or less were made. I love the rounded bolster on the old Queen Barlows, wish they would bring that pattern back.

Mahalo, Monte...yeah, that's a gnarly one alright, and one of my favorites. Bought it from Frank's Knives at his store right here on AAPK.

That explains it. A forum knife from 2009. Hands down the best Barlow posted so far. ::tu::

Q, I was just about to go to bed, but now you have agitated my brain to a degree that sleep is unlikely to come easily. If I do sleep, no doubt my dreams will be of your beautiful e/os floating away just out of my reach. :)

Agitating peoples' brains and causing sleep deprivation seem to be two of my few remaining talents (which I'm sure my wife will enthusiastically confirm) ::smirk::
