My Finest Queen

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

I think i have been posting too much lately. People likely would rather read what others have to say.

The first of the PC series was a pearl canoe. Then a full size black horn with pearl shield elephant toe/sunfish. Then was the muskrat KJ posted. After that was my favourite, the 2004 small sunfish. IMO one of the best pocketknives of all time. In 2005 the PC was a beautiful 3 3/8 cigar band pearl whittler. In 2005 Queen also collaborated with Canal Street Cutlery with a 3 5/8 pearl whittler which has nice filework on the backsprings. This was the Chairman's Choice. 2006 & 2007 brought a set of mini toothpicks, one of which is left handed!

There was one other set of pearl Dan Burke collaborations, the doctor's knife with bg42 blades.

I will try and get some photos of these "Best of Queen's" but due to curious 5 year old fingers, nothing is particularly convenient. 8)

Robbobus, thank you for describing each of the Queen President's Choice knives. The 2 i have do seem to be a step up in handle material & F&F from other Queen knives.

Here is the 2005 President's Choice whittler in French Polynesian Black Pearl. Thanks to traditionalpocketknives.com for having this one to complete my set a while back. I shouldn't say complete, but I have handled a few of the later (08,09) and they are not of the calibre of the 2000 - 2007 models. I'm home sick with a lung infection so I going post em all up.
Its under glass in a (cheesy) clock display hence the not crispy photo. I have a temptation to buy another for the pocket. I also have a desire to not be in debt also so...

Here is my favourite Queen. The 2004 PC baby sunfish. One detail which I won't be able to capture are the 45° chamfered edges. The cast bolsters add an extra touch of class. I actually did buy a spare to use of this one. But I don't. I set them up for a group shot and the overcast day outside helped me get my best pearl shot ever. Click on the last shot, this pearl is outstanding. I likely have 50 pearl handled knives, the 04s are unparalleled. ::

Next I present the 2005 Chairman's Choice whittler. This was a joint project with Canal Street and S&M. Pearl with fileworked backsprings

2002. This os a chunk of a knife. Horn with a pearl shield. All the pc and cc knives have d2 blades except this one. 420 blades ::td:: but it is a standout.

2006 & 2007 dueling toothpicks. The '06 is actually a lefty! The '06 is black pearl with a white pearl S inlay and the '07 is white pearl with a black pearl M inlay. They are quite diminutive.

Lastly I will post up a group shot of my Quenn DB (Dan Burke) collaborations. Charlie posted the English gentleman's, here they are with their doctor friends. Beautiful black pearl or abalone handles and worked backsprings, bg42 blades also. I have a user of each as shown. I like that they didn't come in all that packaging and etched signature blades as their annuals did. Older photo, I will update it when I am in that section of knives.

robbobus, sorry i am so late in commenting. Thank you for posting all of these Chairmans Choice knives with their year of issue. It is easy to get them mixed up and now your post can be referred to for help.
