Who's into S & M?

The Queen Cutlery Company has been manufacturing knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for over 100 years. The company opened its factory in 1902 and continues to produce knives in the same way now as they did in their earliest years.

Lovely Q! ::tu:: I take it the 'New York' tang stamp is special. Can you tell me more?

The New York tang stamp was used on the Premier Series. Here is a link to the Premier Series thread viewtopic.php?f=61&t=15483&hilit=premier

It was also the oldest Schatt & Morgan tang stamp 1897-1902

For those interested, the following link from a post earlier in the thread will show a picture of the S&M Gowanda, NY stamp.

Got this beautiful S&M Wharncliffe Whittler from kj(Roland). By no means my first Schatt and Morgan, but my first ivory S&M. This knife is over the top.

SSk, To state the obvious, that is a beautiful knife. Fine coloring on the ivory.
