Who's into S & M?

Schatt & Morgan knives were first manufacturer back in 1890. The Queen Cutlery company made most of the more recent examples, but Schatt had its own plant in its earlier years that cranked out the oldies. There is no shortage of fantastic Schatt & Morgan knives in existance that have been made over the brand's long & storied history.

S&M 's in mother-of-pearl...my photography leaves a bit to be desired, doesn't capture the fire well at all. But, I do like the lighting in the early morning.

Guess I'll post this Executive Jack here as well (also posted in Wharncliffe thread). I really like this stripped down, bare bones version with no shield or blade etch.

Mahalo, Quick Steel, I do tend to favor a minimalist aesthetic.

A beautiful barlow Tsar. Congrats. While I have a couple of large barlows, for personal use I prefer the standard sized barlows. However, looking at yours, I think that particular one could make me change my mind. But it is just to impressive for me to put to work. :)

Speaking of Barlows...
Already posted these on the Barlow thread, but I think they should get a viewing here as well.

Here is a 3 5/8" equal end whittler (#99 pattern) with 1095 high carbon blades that will get some occasional pocket time. It has a split backspring and they did a nice job of fitting it together so that there is no blade rub. The blade motion from closed to open and back to closed is not quite as buttery smooth as my Tuna Valley knives. Snap is good and blade pull is comfortable. The etching on the main blade is a little sloppy with some etch "residue" remaining on the blade, otherwise the Overall fit & finish is good.

That is one handsome knife. It reminds me so much of the Canal Street Canitlers I have in my collection. First S&M in that pattern I've seen. I like it! ::tu::

That's a real good lookin' #99. Glad you're happy with it.

I just bought a #376 Swell Center with a Wharncliffe and Spear. It's one of Queen's EDC seconds but it's going to be carried so no big deal.
According to the seller, there's a small crack at the center pin and I hope that's all that's wrong with it.
My perfect knife is a bone handled 3 3/4" equal end, single spring, opposing blades, Wharncliffe and Clip. Nobody makes this pattern but the 376 comes the closest.

Here's a pic of the 376.

Liking them F&F is great - if I could change anything (?) I wouldn't mind the blade being a bit fuller

Brumbydownunder,
Derek, they are an outstanding pair you have there. Are you stating a set? The S&M knives are a special favorite of mine, and that style is very striking. Well done my friend.

Derek, the Sway Belly pattern looks handsome and robust like a blend of Trapper and Saddlehorn. The stag on your knife is especially nice.

Bruno, your single blade boy's knife is beautiful. I like the traditional green bone!
