Queen S&M Baby Sunfish

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

Queen S&M Baby Sunfish

Post by bdev »

Need help with this one. Trying to find out when Queen manufactured it.
It's a baby sunfish with stag handles but no shield and no etchings. The clip blade tang is stamped SM Titusville and Queen Cut Co Titusville. The pen blade tang is stamped Schatt & Morgan.
I don't believe it was re-handled.
Any ideas?
Thanks......Bruno

The handles look somewhat like elk. If they are it could make dating it easier. But i don't know if Queen has used elk antler.
