That is a good looking knife!

I can't wait to see what a good clean-up will do for it!

This pocket knife arrived recently in a large group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, I was quite surprised and pleased when I discovered it and it most certainly is a keeper. It is a BOKER U.S.A., pattern 9908, two blades, two tang stamps, 2 7/8" closed, pocket knife. The main blade tang stamp reads "BOKER - U.S.A." The main blade, other side, tang stamp reads "9908" with the tree logo. It is in VERY GOOD condition. It needed some very minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Skip, That is a great looking Boker small Dogleg Jack. ::tu:: With the frame design and being 2-7/8" it fits right in as a Pony Jack. You should also consider posting it here. viewtopic.php?f=63&t=69918

There was this all Böker's on small sale event on local knife onlinestora (Lamnia) and I managed to grab the last cap. Of course I also had to buy new member to my Böker Solingen family also...Fellow Ebony. Great knife.

Very recently, this pocket knife arrived in a large group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, I was quite surprised and pleased when I discovered it and it is most certainly a keeper. It is a BOKER 8288, two blades, two tang stamps, 2 3/4" closed, pocket knife. It appears that it has milled liners, on the bottom of the pocket knife. The main blade tang stamp says "BOKER (over) U.S.A." The main blade back tang stamp says "8288" with the tree logo. Oh, so as not to disappoint, this pocket knife was missing the shield. I had another BOKER 8288 pocket knife, with a broken blade, so I popped the shield off of that one and epoxied it to this one. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD+ condition. It did need some very minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

I was mistaken. It was NOT a broken BOKER U.S.A. 8288 that I took the shield from.
It was a broken BOKER U.S.A. 8387 that yielded the shield.

After swearing not to buy a China knife, I may score this Boker Magnum Damascus. It somehow speaks to me. Thoughts?

That's a handsome Boker, Rick!
I have 3 or 4 Magnums in my accumulation, and they're all great knives.

I'm not a fan of anything from China but this Boker Plus was gifted to me as part of a decent survival kit. Handles feel aluminum but not sure. Has seatbelt cutter and glass breaker. Assisted flipper so it's pretty fun to play with. Not sure how to use the glass breaker without putting your whole hand through the window. I prefered a spring loaded center punch for that back in the day.
