Welcome to AAPK. Glad to have you aboard.

The image below is from the Boker tang stamp chart. It's likely there wasn't room for the tree on the mark side of the tang so they put it on the pile side. Sorry I don't recall what they call that pattern. Lobster?

A beautiful piece of cutlery! Not a lobster though - I'd call it a gentleman's grooming knife - scissors and a manicure blade, with a corkscrew for opening small bottles of medicines or cologne, etc which were typically stoppered with corks at the time the knife was made.

Here's a catalog cut from 1928. The heading indicates that this knife was made in Solingen. Real beauty right there. Pattern 5598. ::tu::
