Boker 3 Blade Electrician Knife

Post by mountainad82 »

I have several electrician knives from various manufacturers. This is my first Boker electrician.

I have the two blade, and like it quite a bit. Never have seen a three blade from Boker before. I presume this was made shortly after Boker USA went under with both Solingen and USA tang stamps. Did Boker ever do a two blade with the "mini hawkbill" and screwdriver blades?

I was wondering about the mixed Boker USA and Solingen markings. It seems plausible that it was manufactured right after Boker USA folded.

When BOKER USA ceased manufacturing knives in the U.S., they sent a lot of their blades to Solingen. They had already been tang-stamped BOKER/USA, and in Germany they acid etched the "Made in Germany" blade etch. This was in the mid to late 1980s.
