1920's - 1930's Boker Shell Puller

Post by outkast »

Picked this piece up at the Pigeon Forge Show. I have no doubts in the knife but curious why master blade has no mark.

NICE knife! While, as a rule most old H. Bokers are marked on all blades, occasionally you will run across legitimate knives that are not marked on each blade (maybe it was made on Friday evening  ). The unmarked blade is correct for your knife. I have attached a cattle knife that is older than your shell puller that is not marked on each blade for comparison.

A pocket knife is still an intimate personal possession of the individual who carries it and consequently deserves the best of materials, finish and workmanship in its production. (Quoted from Boker's 1928 cutlery catalog).
