Boker U.S.A. and Belknap/Primble

Post by tongueriver »

Are the older John Primble knives marketed by Belknap Hardware made by Boker U.S.A. if they have an outline of a five point star stamped on the tang? If so, did other contributors to their line also have a star? I know that Schrade made some Primble knives, for instance.

I'm no expert on the matter, but the Primbles with the star sure look like Boker.

I have recently started collecting John Primble knives. I would say that if it has the star it would be Boker made. I have a Boker and John Primble that look identical except for the shield.I like the old Boker USA knives also.

My Primble. One of my favorite knives and no wonder, it's a Böker!! It just feels good.
