Just arrived in a group of knives from an estate sale.
H.Boker& Co. with Tree Brand tang stamp
Equal end Senator pen knife.
Believe it to be 1920s to 1930s
Has multi-colored scales that change color depending on the viewing angle.
I have not been able to find one with scales like it.
Have found similar on line but nothing with this type of scales.
Unusual Boker Equal end Senator Pen knife ID???
Re: Unusual Boker Equal end Senator Pen knife ID???
I think you are close on the time frame. I have seen these color changing celluloid scales on other knives and usually small pen knives like yours. Can't really say much more about it other than it is a cool little knife.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

I think that is what Boker called their "Iridescent" pyralin (celluloid) handles in the 1920s.
Here are some catalog cuts from 1925 and 1928 with this handle material illustrated.

Nice old knife! This type of handle has also been referred to as glitter stripe. Check out the link below for some other examples.

A pocket knife is still an intimate personal possession of the individual who carries it and consequently deserves the best of materials, finish and workmanship in its production. (Quoted from Boker's 1928 cutlery catalog).
