85 - 88 with Boker tree ???

Post by Meridian_Mike »

I'm not quite in tune with Boker anniversaries and such.... SO....
What does the 85 - 88 mean on each side of the tree?

When I got this one, it was black so I didn't see this until I cleaned it some.

Think it's a model number. Like Case has 6318.

Yep.... I recon so.... the pattern is too perfect.
I was wondering because one side was light and dull when I got it and then after some oil.... it darkened like the oil was soaking into the canals or something.

Thanks!!
