Arizona Ironwood does look nice, some of the pics look like GEC polished the 47 Arizona Ironwood where they didn't on the 74 Mustang but some pics don't so not sure if it's just a glare or polished. If I'm lucky enough to get one I'll let you all know.

not sure about Arizona Ironwood but some have received the Burlap from another site I'm on, if the 47s are a short run like the 74 Mustang and some said they were you won't even see them listed at dealers because they are already reserved. If your a regular at a dealer you have a shot otherwise it will be a fight to get one.

Are the handle edges rounded on the #47's with wood handles ? How does it feel in hand ?

I talked to my GEC dealer on the phone. I had just paid my invoice on the #47 ironwood. Ironwoods should be showing up soon at the dealers. There was a mix up with the black plum and the brown burlap. The black plum bone #47 knives went out first, by mistake. So keep looking for brown burlap #47 drops.

I sure would like one of those stag Northfields. Guess I'd better be on the look out.

Got my notification from CK that the stag are in. I was on the reserve and was able to snag one. Now the wait for the USPS to do its part begins.

I was on the fence about the vipers and before they announced this run I ordered a Rough Rider work knife (same pattern) to see what all the fuss was about. I love a good wharncliffe blade and although I don't see the Viper becoming an edc I did like the RR enough to go ahead and at least try for the viper. Looking forward to getting it in hand.

I bought an ironwood Viper , a phat Sambar Stag Viper and three Long tail "C" shield knives. I had already paid for two knives. I always allow Mr. Frank to combine knives in the shipping . I'd rather Mr. Frank make more money than the post office. I aint in no hurry. I had to contact Mr. Frank about the Paypal invoice that was wrong. "Easy Fix" I always tell Mr. Frank to grab me the ugliest phattest stag , so it is easier for one arm me to open. Mr. Frank is (75) and he is a character. You can't help but to love this man. When Mr. Frank retired and moved to N.C. , he counted over 3,500 knives. He started going to Knife shows be the internet and he started a web-sight at a later time. Mr. Frank has some perfect pre 1922 Case knives. Mr. Frank has everything cool. Everything is for sale. Selling knives betters his collection. He does not sell knives for income. He really cares that you receive the knife of your dreams. I use all the GEC dealers , but Mr. Frank helps me get the hard ones. ***** So I am talking and having a great time with Mr. Frank on the phone. I said to him ,"OK Mr Frank ,just send me the uglist phattest stag you got. I heard an elderly female loud voice in the background. "IT'S IN THE BOX AND IT IS A BEAUTIFUL KNIFE !" We both laugh our heads off. I pay more for my knives from Mr. Frank , but the less aggravation is worth every dime. ******* My family left Brevard ,NC in 1999. The medical care in Western , NC was horrible. Mr. Frank was the head on the board of directors at a hospital near Waynesville ,NC. Mr. Frank contacted Duke University and Duke bought the hospital to train their doctors. Mr. Frank is a Patriot and an asset to his community.
