The wood slabs look like they will be very attractive. Anyone know what the wood is ?

Kootenay Joe, GEC is calling it Arizona Ironwood. Not sure how it differs from what is generally referred to as just Ironwood. But I agree, it does look good. I also think the black plum looks fantastic, just waiting to see how the jigging looks in the end.

I think i read that Arizona Ironwood and Ironwood are the same, that it is harvested by licence in Arizona, i reckon Arizona Ironwood is a marketing ploy to keep the made in America theme more appealing. But that is just my opinion. ::shrug::

I agree, desert ironwood range extends from the southwest corner of the states, down into Mexico. I would guess GEC sources from a supplier in Arizona?

The Desert Ironwood will look great when finished. And there is a lot of 'individuality' in the pieces, no two look exactly the same. I think i might have to get one just for the wood handles.

I've never cared too much for this type of pattern but man, those sure do look nice. Can't wait to see what the AAPK knife looks like.

Bryan will be contacting us at the end of this month will all of the details. The Sambar Stags should be released on 10/23/2020 , by how the other three #74s were released this week. It won't be long , now.

Actually a knife collector friend scored it for me. He got it at KSF. I had got home from work and hadnt seen the email from KSF yet. He already had one and knew I want one and was able to get one for me. ::ds:: These are going so fast its unbelieveable. I think the first drop at TKC lasted about 30 seconds. When the web page showed up I didnt have a add to cart button for about 15 seconds. By the time I got it there were three left. When I was going to the payment page they were boom gone.

Well I was wrong about the Sambar Stag #74 knives being released on 10/23/2020 . Looks like the Sambar Stag #74s and the AAPK #74s will be released this coming week. It won't be long now.

Just received my stag and I couldn’t be happier. The stag is some of the nicest I’ve had. The knife is exquisite with nary a complaint.
