Those are very nice as well JET79. I will say however they certainly are a small knife and I think two or three of these editions is going fill my need for this patternJET79 wrote:I did get this guy though and I’m really liking it. Re: GEC's #14s
Thanks Greg. I just heard from Barry. He only received part of his SFO and is waiting for the rest. Mine will get shipped out when the rest of his order arrives.

Thanks Greg! I think Frank outdid himself on this SFO. The Oily Creek Bone and the Old Man shield are a unique combination.gsmith7158 wrote:Those are pretty snazzy Rick! I like the old man.Railsplitter wrote:Just in today.

Here are my two #14's so far. To me, Frank's tube is a bonus.

Re: GEC's #14s
I just picked up my #14 with "Smooth Autumn Gold Bone" handles. These are an SFO for Gunstock Jacks (Barry).
WOW ! I am so impressed and so pleased. It is small but seems 'just right'. There is instant appeal. Sizes, shapes and proportions all come together to create the pleasing 'whole' which is this knife.
Look at the dramatic cut swages, both sides, and a pin prick sharp point and a thin grind, hair popping sharp. This blade is as good as any custom and better than many.
This might well be the best GEC knife i have (of about 40 ?).
GEC continues to up their standards of fit & finish & blade grinds even though they already were above any other knife manufacturer in USA. I wish i could go there and thank every person working at GEC. They deserve praise and thanks.

Re: GEC's #14s
Just ordered my 2018 AAPK GEC 14!
These are nice looking knives! I usually don't buy single bladed knives but I had to have this one.
Thank you Mr. Sanders.

Re: GEC's #14s
At least two dealers that I am familiar with now have the two-bladed Northfield version with the clip and pen blade in jigged antique yellow. They're certainly nice looking knives. I guess I better order one.

I haven’t heard when my knives are coming or the cost yet. I was going to sell them in my AAPK store but I had too much correspondence with first come first serve requests and couldn’t figure out how to put them in queue on that site.

Re: GEC's #14s
Mad Trapper's post above saying the 2 blade Northfield #14 has been seen at 2 dealer sites stimulated me to 'have a look'.
I think we all know what "have a look" means. The first 5 dealers i checked were sold out of all #14's. Then at the sixth dealer was a 2 blade Northfield with jigged Antique Yellow bone handles, 'only 1 left'. Now there are 0 left !
Mad Trapper is a bad influence on susceptible people like myself
The dealer is Gunstock Jack's, one of my 2 favorite GEC dealers. I checked his site yesterday but there were no 2 blade #14's which is why i did not check his site today until i had tried 5 others. So i am very pleased with how this worked out.
Thank you M.T. & Barry.

Nice looking Stag on the few that remain. Greg are you thinking $123 is high ?
I paid $101 for the 2 blade with jigged Antique Yellow bone.

It's such a smallknife Roland. I'm thinking $123 might be better spent elsewhere.kootenay joe wrote:Nice looking Stag on the few that remain. Greg are you thinking $123 is high ?

The two blade elderberry and golden brown jigged bone versions are now available on SMKW. They are listed under the Cripple Creek brand.

Re: GEC's #14s
Doc Holiday once said that my Hypocricy only goes so far Wyatt. Apparentlly my hypocrisy knows no bounds as I said I would pass on this stag 2 Blade 14. As has happenened before though that is not the case and I shall try to rationalize my purchase by noting that rewards points decreased my purchase price to $93 So what else could I do?
