A very nice Rope Knife

Post by Schradenut »

This knife just joined the stable, and i thought you might like a squiz.
Northfield Premium Rope knife #15S115, in yellow jigged bone.
This knife is a SFO for Charlie Campagna, and is an exceptionally nice knife, as i have found. He really thinks outside the square, this guy. I hope you like it as well.
I have had a renewed interest in GEC & Queen knives, after a sabbatical of some 5 years, of late, thanks to my good friend Doug Webber(also a very keen collector). He scours the internet, and point out all these wonderful knives. I can only be so strong, as both Companies make exceptionally good knives.
Cheers from the 'Land of Oz',
Tony.

Very nice! Almost the same as the 2015 AAPK knife, except yours has the fancy bolsters, long pull and fancy bail ::shrug:: . I really like the feel of this pattern.

That is very nice. Congrats. Everything Mr. Campagna does is first class IMHO.

A run of Charlie's SFO TC Barlows is happening soon. Only one handle as far as I can tell, an indeterminate color/style of jigged bone. Having starved for a GEC Barlow for so long, and despite getting a 77 Barlow SFO from CK earlier this year, I reserved my limit of one within two minutes of receiving the text. Within a half-hour, the preorders were already on standby.

No doubt a photo will be showing up here when I finally have it in me greedy little mitts. 8) And in line with the OP 15, I've also got a pending reservation or three for the upcoming Beer Scouts.

GEC can't run more 15s soon enough! ::ds::
