Hard to resist these, everything about them is great! I don't collect bone, but I don't mind carrying it, especially when it's this nice.
here they are #48 diamond jacks in blood red jig bone & old tan jig bone. Very nice.

Nope no bone guy...
still the king of the woodpile. I've just come to terms and told myself it's ok to carry other things, just not to collect...

Actually, the old tan is going away, well I should say it won't be mine... Giving it to someone as a birthday present, but the blood red is all mine...

The single blade version in Antique Yellow Jig Bone, one of about forty made:
GEC hit a home run with the bone color and jigging on these, with this being my favorite. Notice how the "peach seed" jigging goes around the edge of the covers. The swedges on the blade, special shield and other little 'touches' make this knife pretty special. I guess ya can't say "they don't make 'em like that anymore"!

Charlie's got another gem in the works; this knife will be the second pattern in the
Diamond Jack series. It'll be based on the GEC 15 frame and will have spear main with new re-designed caplifter/screwdriver secondary blade. Brass frame with nickel/silver bolsters and pinned shield on old style peach seed jigged bone covers will complete the package. Should be a Jim-Dandy!

I just got one of the single-blade versions. It was a gift for some networking I did for a cue collector.

Congratulations! Those were made in very limited numbers, only about forty or so.
Next up in the Diamond series knives is a deluxe version radio jack made on the 15 frame. Sweeet!!!

Can't be too big for me Barry. I'm all over this one, closest we'll ever see to the older Shapleigh DE knives IMO. Oh if one day Charlie could talk Bill Howard into making this saw cut/peachseed jig on a Jack, it would be incredible! Maybe this Radio Jack will come close.
Schrade Cut Jack.
