GEC 81 Stockman

Post by Gunstock Jack »

The new 4 inch 81 stockman is shaping up to be a dandy! Looks like it'll be similar to the Case 6392, only better! Anybody else like this pattern?

Are they going to make it as a jack? I would like it as one of those.

I'd prefer that config. ::nod:: Just don't need/want a big frame stockman, though it's certainly a nice one.

I sure wish they'd wrap some of that osage orange around the 81 coon skinnner frame. I've been looking for an excuse to get one. ::facepalm:: :D

Spring tension is about the same as on the Case 6392; in other words, pull is about a 6 or so. They are very solidly built (of course) and I like the flat ground blades much better than hollow ground. My only problem is... which model do I put in my pocket??? ::shrug:: ::shrug:: ::shrug::
