For some that missed out on the JBF Eureka's like me the Tidioute ones are showing up on Collectorknives.net. Just ordered me an antique green bone!

Here is a picture of 3 Rosewood knives numbers 15, 2 and 13!!! Man they look great, Bill and his people at GEC did a wonderful job on these!!

Man, I haven't had this much fun waiting for something since I was a kid at christmas time!

The knife , box , opener and packing were the BEST ! Very happy with my burnt stag....
a lot of work went into the beautiful presentation..............

Yes, new here.
First off, thanks Mike. The knives look great...couldn't look any better.
I'm sure along with myself, there are a lot of happy folks who received their packages today.
I'm somewhat new to knives, if you will. Over the past couple of years have accumulated a bunch of SAK including several of the alox models. Have had a Case and Buck for years and they have been little used, frankly. Have always had a SA Classic on my keyring.
Recently bought a Boker Tree Brand for whittlin'.
Anyway, what am I working up to here? I saw Mike's Website and thought it'd be terrific to have a nice knife with a story and a history. Yep, Mike finding the rosewood blanks in a factory falling down around him. And, of course the history of Champlin. After I ordered the rosewood model, I wrote Mike back and wanted a second for my brother, but he'd already sold out, so my brother's stag knife is sitting here on my desk.
I had planned on using this knife. You know, putting in my pocket, carrying it around, and using it for all of those knife things. But, I'm now having second thoughts. Dang, this knife is so cool...well, it's back in the wax paper for now.
Am toying with the idea of getting one of the ebony models to carry around.
I guess one other thing, at least in my mind, these knives just seem such a step up from all of my other knives. Is this my imagination? These just look great and ready to do business.
Any of you folks planning on carry these around?
Anyway, if you've gotten this far, thanks for hearing me out.
I've enjoyed lurking around here for several months and have learned a lot about knives from you all. Unfortunately, I might say, have picked-up some of your enthusiasm for buying knives (haha). It wasn't that long ago that I thought twenty bucks was about all a person needed to spend for a knife. Guess those days are gone...

My pair are super nice.... A project that has some history to it, tough thing to say about a pair of knives less than a day in possesion. I'll treasure mine as I do with most others, but do not think they will be users, but one never knows Bonehead

Received #49 in Rosewood this afternoon, spent the rest of the day in pocket. #49 ebony teardrop was not a happy camper. They are just gonna have to learn to share

The post office out-did themselves rushing this package to me today - wow! These Champlins just keep getting better. Notice the printing on the back of the rosewood knife, and the long match-striker pulls on the main blades! The blades even have individual "pockets" to rest in.

Pictures of the knives are really fantastic guys! Here are my specimens. They say a camera never lies, but pictures do not do the knives justice IMO. I'm really taken with the way the stag has come out on my knife. Mike told me I'd be happy and boy was he right! The tones on the rosewood blend in nicely. Thanks to Mike and Derek and all at GEC for going all out on these!!
