Thanks! :D You gotta get you one, the two blades are a bear to open but the lockbacks are smooth! ::tu:: Better yet just get two, they are better in pairs.

I might have to get one then, do they have half stops? I wish my #72's springs were stronger and had half stops.

The single blade lockbacks don't but the double bladed do. They have quite a hefty spring on them, it's such a difference between single and double blade. The difference in springs is night and day. ::hmm::

I thought I'd kick this back up and show some 42's. The latest one's in stainless and the wood's just keep me coming back for more!

If I'm not mistaken I think this is the first time acrylic has been used on a lockback.

The #42 Trader has really piqued my interest lately. It has all the characteristics that I really like.
Been chewing on getting one in either stag or the Green jigged bone.

Bob ..... that is an awesome collection. ::tu::

..... and after seeing Trevor's group of Elk in another thread, I would probably consider doing something obscene in the town square to have one of them. They are simply stunning! ::tu::

Looks like we will be seeing a new blade etch on the GEC SS #42's. It's the 'GEC Practical Knives' banner like on the new hats and t-shirts. Pretty cool.
