Thanks to QTCut5, I now have my first GEC- #78 American Jack. I see now what all the fuss is about. It is a true work of craftsmanship. It's almost too nice to carry, but I'll try to get over that!
Lan, you couldn't have picked a better first GEC. Congrats on owning a true piece of American pocket art! Funny you should say that it's too nice to carry because I'm keeping my SMKW 78 single as a dress up knife, and I don't dress up that often. It's so nice I can't bring myself to put it into my daily carry rotation. So nice in fact, that I had to spring for a NF 78 2-blade in golden brown jig bone as an EDC option. Side by side, they're almost the exact same color. I wanted the beautiful golden brown bone but also a 2-blade jack because I love that big pen secondary. I'll have to post pics soon...
