Jerryd the stag and ebony Northfields are the prettiest ones IMO. That one looks fantastic! ::tu::

Thanks guys. I-Man and ~Q~ buy up all the single blade variations then I come along and scarf up the two blade variations. Works out perfectly.

And you are correct Philip, she was a Safe Queen before she ever landed here. My current carry knife is this old USA Jack (Kingston?).

It's a great pattern Greg, with a very nice compliment of available covers. I considered getting the stag but since I didn't have an Appaloosa bone, I opted for that. As is said, "variety is the spice of life" (just don't get caught).

Picked up this "Hounds Tooth" a 55 pattern from 2013. This one has a pull like a 23, nail breaking little bugger.
Autumn Gold bone handles, a nice slim carry knife at 3 1/2". If only it opened easier....

Monk, i have the same #35 but with ebony. I think it is a truly GREAT knife: very slender, thinly ground blade is a super slicer and awl is there for when you need to poke. It saves the blade tip. Bone on yours suits knife just a much as the ebony. Excellent score !

Your going to like that 35. The awl is very useful. The edge on my awl is fairly sharp, and makes a great scraper as well.

Like how you worked that 35 over Monk, looks almost new. Great swap, and a very fine set of bones you have there. Scored.

Here's my 43 Oregon fresh out of the tube. I thought they were all lighter in color from some last minute buffing at the factory but the first one I see on Instagram is a nice dark brown color just like in the production pics. I asked the dealer for a darker one but I guess this is all they had. ::shrug::

Handles might darken if you use it & natural skin oil gets into the bone ? Happens with ivory which is colored about like your knife.

I think you got a winner there. Like that lighter one better than the darker ones I've seen.

I just found a single blade Stag #56 with fairly nice Stag that is described as 'not fat'. It was on the site of a custom knife dealer who only just now has become a GEC seller. This is my only 56. I held off buying 'one of everything'.
kj

Just added picture of my 2010, 56 pattern, with a strong looking clip blade, for comparison. Although a spearpoint blade is traditional in a dogleg jack, i think with the 56, the clip blade makes for a more attractive knife.
