Bravooooooo. Those are some of the deepest colored scales I"ve seen. Like that much better than the washed out ones. Congrats, that is probably the prettiest I've seen and I've been watching them since they came out. Great score.

So far this is the only knife from this collection of 92 knives that I am keeping for sure. The stag on this one is just amazing. The only other stag 44 in this collection had stag just as nice as this one, it sold quickly. I’m still on the fence about keeping a couple of stag 89’s. I moved this one into my display case today after cleaning and putting Ren Wax on it, so it’s officially being kept.

Thanks David. It’s been an awful temptation, there are a lot of nice stag knives in this collection but this one about made me jump out of my chair when I opened it.

Beautiful knife Mark. It's easy to see why you're keeping that one. Really like the gunstock shape and those stag covers, what can I say! Congratulations! 8)

J1890, another score, another beauty. Wow, love that grain and the lanyard tube and the long pull and the nick, stamped blade. Mmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnn. Congrats again, you just keep nailing it big time.

SharpShiny, must say that is some of the best stag going. Congrats on the score and self control not to have to keep more of that beautiful collection. Wow, keep them coming, loving the show.

Roger that, Mark! Sweet stag on that one indeed. You made the right choice to hang onto it, IMHO. Good looking stag like that is increasingly scarce, it seems. I'm now at the point where I have decided only to accumulate more stag, never sell any...too many I've sold for which I now have seller's remorse. Prices have gone into the stratosphere on some of them (i.e., stag & elk GECs) that I couldn't afford to buy them back now even if they were offered for sale. Same goes for ivory.

That 73 with snakewood is beautiful. I haven’t seen many big knives with snakewood, mostly see it on smaller knives, but I really like it on that bigger knife. The handles look so warm to the touch.

Thank you Ivoryman and Q. I agree Q, after seeing what a great stag collection looks like, I am planning on focusing more on stag myself.

This is my second 93 in Cocobolo wood. I have another one in Cocobolo with nice grain, but not quite as nice as this one. I love that dark area that looks like Mt Fuji.

The other side has a nice wood grain peak too. That is some fabulous grain. Beautiful knife period. But I think that about almost every GEC. Congrats, beautiful thing to behold.

Thanks Ivoryman. I learned that when you see a stag or wooden handle that is especially nice, you better move on it when you can or you will miss out.
