Well I did not wait on this one, but I sure had to pay a lot to get it.
Perhaps to much, but she is mine and on the way to live in IL.

Does any one know how many Factory Test Production Run they made? Elk Stag Jack 735108

This one is # 3

GREAT EASTERN #735108 American Elk 35 pcs. serialized
Factory Test Production Run no pcs ?
Is it 35 pcs. or 6 pcs?

Don't know the exact number Ken, But mine is marked 35. I bought mine from Perry Miller aka. (Knifekid) when they first came out and he told me these 1 blade trappers would be the shortest run in the American Elk handles. ::shrug:: I thought he told me there were only 30 something made but I can't be for sure on that Kelley

Ken,there were #35 pcs. made of the #735108 American Elk, during the "'Factory Test Production Run""______ ::tu:: You got a very nice one,with,low serial number ::nod:: ::tu::

I have a 2008,second cut stag,#53 Cuban Stockman,serial #24 of 24 pcs. (Factory Test Production Run )

They made a #53 Cuban Stockman,in American Elk,that was regular production,but only 29 pcs. I have serial#13 of 29 pcs.

Again,that is """A DANDY"" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ::tu::

Ken, that is a beautiful knife. I know I, and I'm sure several other AAPK members were eyeballin' that baby. I don't think you paid too much at all. They won't be makin' any more of 'em, so, it's like waterfront property... That's all there is... and there ain't no more! So I say... ::tu:: ::tu:: for Justold52!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

While rummaging around in the safe I found a pair of Elk's that I'd forgot about, 23 Great Eastern made in 2008.

I wish they would make some with a single clip blade..... ::nod::

Sure Ken! :mrgreen: How about a 721111 lined bolster, one of seven made in 2011, and a 720111, one of six.

I was very fortunate to snap these up from KSF when they came out! ::super_happy:: I had no idea they were so scarce at the time, and apparently, neither did Derek. ::shrug:: I'm sure GEC will be making more of the lined bolster 72 elks in the future! ::pray::
