Heck yeah!!! That looks better than mine!

The punch blade has a pretty sharp edge too.

Also, I received my etched GEC's in the mail today.
I'll put up pics tomorrow.

Here's the etched models. I only have a few "white" bone knives, I really like them.
The etching is really clean.

I'd like to see more GEC stockman knives without a shield. I think they've made
a few, but I haven't had a chance to get one yet.

(Oh, I got these from CollectorKnives.net)

Hey Bob,

Thanks for the comments. Yes, the backs are plain. I'll try to put up a photo soon, just
got back in town.

The stag ones are out! Mike at CollectorKnives.net has one, a Northfield, in the early bird
box on the GEC page. It looks really nice!

Also, GEC's new release page has pictured a new Tidioute Baron and Rancher, both in
"White Pearl LG+". Not sure what that material is, but it looks good to me. The stag Baron
photo is there also.

Forget OT list. It might be time for the wife to get that second job! ("Just kidding Hon, WAIT
put that down!?!!....")

Awesome Mike, thanks for the fast info.
...is the back side etched or plain..
Here's a pic of the backs of the etched. The thing I like about the white bone
is what I'm calling "milky" or "cloudy". I'm guessing that it's plain
white, non-dyed smoothed bone with maybe some kind of sealer? The
yellow tones add a nice contrast.

These look identical to genuine pearl until you start looking at angles and see the acrylic sandwich.

Dang, that Tidioute pearl looking glass is nice!!

Now the yellow bone and stag Northfield!

I haven't carried any of mine yet because they look so good. I do carry my
regular stockman, which is the same frame #53, I got from Mike in my pocket and
sometimes in a folder sheath, and both options are fine.

These are great GEC days for sure.

Pick it out yourself!! ::nod::
Early Bird purchases in stag and primitive are taken in a group picture and the owners pick them out of a line-up in the order they reserved them. But I must say, that GEC has really nice stag....
