2010 GEC Open House
2010 GEC Open House
According the the GEC Website, it's July 16th and 17th this year, which is rapidly approaching. I stopped up towards the end last year and it was a neat visit. This year it falls on one of my on-call weeks, but I'm going to see about switching out a few days with a coworker.
I know last year it coincided with the Queen show down the road, not sure about this year. Anyone have more info?

Re: 2010 GEC Open House
I live in the center of IL. So I have many miles to get to GEC's open houses. I made it for 2 years (2007,2009) so far and loved it that GEC and Queens show ran at the same time. I went to both factorys or show each day. For some unknown reason I spent more money at GEC....??
Speeking of money best to take more than you plan on spending..!!!
Have fun with the men and ladies that work at GEC also.

BIG change of plans guys, I will not be at GEC on Thursday, but I will be there on FRIDAY to sign books and hopefully meet all of you that truly admire what GEC is doing. Please introduce yourself, my wife and I will have a table and a display of vintage Tidioute Cutlery items for you to look over. No they are NOT FOR SALE just like to show them off. H A HA HA

Re: 2010 GEC Open House
Hey guys,
we ran up to GEC today and met David Anthony, it was nice meeting him and his wife, very nice couple, o'yeah beautiful knives.
My Mom surprised me with a beautiful yellow rose improved muskrat, it's been in my pocket ever since, it reminds me of her every time I use it. (not that I wouldn't remember her otherwise)
Any how, I'm blessed to have such a loving family that supports my knife habit.
I got some pics, but I'm not sure how great they are, I'll go through them and check later.
Post pics later.

Buckeye, it's better than a muskrat it's an improved muskrat.
