NEW Test Run Handle Material

Post by Vince Roberts »

I picked this one up at the Sevierville Show - it's one of the "Looking Glass" family of proprietary Acrylic handles that GEC has come up with, the pictures of these don't show the most beautiful aspect which is the irredescent shine the handles have as they are rotated back and forth in the light, it really is gorgeous!

And the Tang Stamp, I don't have another Congress to compare it to - is this the way the Tang Stamp is on all the Tidioute Congress Modls?

Anyone else have a pic of one of the other Looking Glass models?

Thanks for the kind words Don.

Let us know what GEC says. I saw that they recently put up a pic on the New Releases area with a Burnt Stag photo of the Congress. I really like the Bolsters on that one, very classy.

Hillbill,
I'll be sure and keep you folks posted on any replies I receive from GEC. I also noticed their New Release page, with the handsome Stag Congress, and fluted bolsters. I agree, classy... I hope they keep 'em comin' ::nod::

Hey Don,

That pic ain't bad, when you blow it up it looks fine. That handle material kind of reminds me of a Butterfly's Wing the way it shines.

Congrats on that one. The one I showed is still the only one of the Looking Glass series that I have.

Yes, they are carbon.

The Northfield and Tidioute are 1095. The Great Eastern Brand (actual tang stamp) are stainless.
