JoKr, In your previous photo of Barlows, do you know what wood was used for the covers of the very first knife shown in the top row all the way to the left?

Love the group shot and you have some great ones. Cool to see what turns your clock and makes you click buy now. Are you just a GEC man? Don't recall seeing much in the way of other brands. Which is good with me, that's about all I chase usually. Keep 'em coming, you're rocking it. ::tu:: ::super_happy:: ::ds::

Great taste you have I must say, not a bland one in all the groups you post. Fabulous collection you have.

First two #68 equal ends I've had. Blows me away. What a pattern and build quality and beauty to behold. What a size and compliment. Now I see what I've been missing all this time.

Nice one Quick, I do love the GEC branded and that acorn shield. About what year would that be and when did you get into buying GEC knives? My first was a 2014 #47 Viper also just GEC, Cyclps Steel Works. Stainless and Amber bone, acorn shield. Have always really loved that knife. Yours reminds me of it when I see the acorn. Good one.

I believe I picked this up about 2012. I only have a few GECs. I certainly admire them but never got into them in a big way. A few years ago there was a group of teenage boys here at the house; about 8 of them. Each of them had various "issues." After they left I discovered that one of them had lifted one of my GEC knives. Since it was a Boys Knife pattern I didn't mind too much. It had after all gotten into the hands of a boy.

Ha ha, me too. Had a group of teens here for a teen party. Thought none of them had issues like that but when they were gone I noticed a Case Mini T Wharn with great bones was missing off my knife display shelf. I just didn't have it in me to go around accusing and questioning all the kids for one loser/thief. And I had no idea whatsoever who had snagged it. That's life I guess, I've been stolen from many times in life. I used to try to track it down and get some justice. Not anymore. If they need it that bad then so be it and we'll find out in the next world who did the stealing and I"m sure they will feel the burn bad enough then so justice can't be denied. Their problem, not mine. Right there with you Quick.

Well, I was just @#$%^! estatic that they didn't steal any of my beloved GEC's man. That might have made me go Gestapo and try to track them down for real. Or at least target and interrogate next time I saw them. ::pray:: ::rotflol::

I don't have many GEC's. This is my first one acquired in late 2009 or early 2010.
