Congrats on the new pick up. You have great taste. The 15 spear is one of my faves too.

Really like that Toenail clipper Jamie. Love the shield and bones and the sheep foot.
Picked up this Yellow Rose Muskrat for one who loves yellow and roses and Texas. So it works. Also love two different blade choices so one of the stock clips had to go.

Thanks DM, glad you like it. Like to mix things up sometimes and a good mod it was. These yellow roses were inspired by Mike 313. Thanks again.

Little booty from the OKCA show in Eugene, OR. Some from Charlie Compagna and other sellers. Great show, great weekend in Oregon.

Wowsers!!!!
Re: Mail Call, Post Your New GECs.
This one was from Charlie Compagnas table and doesn't disappoint. 2013 Northfield 47 Viper. Had one years ago and let it go. Regretted it many times since. Not this time.

Re: Mail Call, Post Your New GECs.
I'm sure you're mind is so full of different GEC patterns & numbers after the OKCA show that you mistakenly called this 72 a "47 Viper" (could happen to anyone).
Beauty whatever the pattern number is. One question: is the lock-up slightly loose like every 72 I've ever owned or is this one different?

Re: Mail Call, Post Your New GECs.
Yeah, 72 Scout. Thanks for the correction. Must have had Viper on my mind? You know. The lock up is unlike any GEC I've ever had. My 72s and 83s all have some form of movement. This one has none. Inexplicable to me. Only GEC I have like that although I just picked up another at the show, a 43 Oregon Trapper. I will check it out to see if there's wobble. I don't remember noticing when buying it. But you have me wondering. I will check and mention it when posting the 43.
Here's another from the show. I have always loved this pattern and frame and now this Wharn with OD green linen. Not gonna win any beauty pageants or contests, but simple and looks good and feels great. Loved this knife from the moment I saw it.

Wow!
What a page of knives to drool over, beautiful guys!
I don't as rule follow GEC knives due to their price, but I saw this one in Mark's (SSk) store and couldn't resist!
It's a 6" oal slip-joint with a sheepsfoot blade, NS hardware, and blued camel bone covers! I like it!

Congrats Marco, so glad you like it. Nothing like blue camel bone. I have one same run with the sheep foot too. Great little knife an d mine is flawless in every way. Can't say enough good about what they did on those. Great acquisition. Always gives me a smile and a satisfaction like few others when ya get a new GEC and it's flawless.

Beautiful looking cutlery everyone!
I really shouldn't visit this thread and look at all these beautiful knives that I can't afford but once in a while I can't help but to sneak a peak at them.
Congrats on your beautiful new addition Marco!

Mark also had that knife with beautiful rich looking Garnet red bone jigged cover and one's with the US flag in acrylic, but the blue bone absolutely jumped off the page at me, so it was a no-brainer regardless of the price. All 3 models come with clip-point or sheepsfoot blades.
It's only my 2nd GEC acquisition, but It's easy to see why folks are paying what they are paying for these knives when they come to you in as nice condition as they do. As you said my friend, flawless!

Re: Mail Call, Post Your New GECs.
Thanks, Tom!
I missed your comments on the first read, so I had to thank you now!
Re: Mail Call, Post Your New GECs.
Thanks about the haul. Rare collision of availability and serendipity. Nice wood grain on that one and beautiful knife. I was surprised to see two sheep foots. Is that the usual Electrician compliment or just their current take on it? To me is seems like three blades should all be different, I don't know, was just surprised. Beauty though, congrats on getting one.
