Hey Guys,

I picked up a Hubertus as part of a lot. It's basically brand new, but missing the lever. I've found lever/sear replacement kits online. Is that what I need to get it going again? Do they come with the pin to hold the lever in place? Can i fire it without a lever to make sure it's in otherwise good working order? Pair of pliers maybe. Please help!!

I'm going to move this pose to the knife repair forum so that one of our switchblade mechanics will see this. I don't work on switchblades but several of our members do.

I'm sure someone will come along soon who can help you with this and answer your questions.

You can pull on that pin with a pair of pliers to check out the action of the knife, just make sure you keep your fingers out of the way.
If you found a lever kit online I would assume that's what you need to make this repair. Without seeing the kit its hard to know whats included. Either way, it looks to be a fairly straight forward repair assuming you can get the parts.

Could you supply me with the company that sells lever/sear kits? I need one for a similar knife(I can modify it to fit).
