Stag Scales

Post by JonTerry »

Hi guys,

Does anybody know a good place to buy Stag knife scales ?

I am looking for some that would suit Buck 110/ LB7 size lock backs.

If anyone knows that would be great, even better if the source is in the UK

Cheers

Same here.
You can occasionally find some on E-bay but the quality varies. You can usually find some nice slabs at Culpeppers.

If you prefer to cut your own slabs you can get complete antlers from Jantz. https://knifemaking.com/collections/sam ... ic-natural

Ebay has all kinds, pre-cut, whole antler, dog chews of various sizes. I just bought a couple there from Oregon Antler Works:

Check them out, many more options than just the one in the link, very reasonably priced. Great selection. Good luck.

Yep.... if you pick wisely you can do a lot with a dog chew antler.

Hey Jon, I saw your post on antler dog chews. I have bought them at Aldis grocery store here in Alabama. If you have Aldi in the UK you might try there.

If you don't find antler dog chews at the store, you might try a pet store. I don't know if you have Petco in the UK or not, but most pet stores around here carry antler chews for dogs.

BH, that's a nice looking job you did on that knife! ::tu::
