Sounds good. And thanks.Ridgegrass wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:19 pm JMH:
Thanks and I'll keep that in mind. Most Bucks I see have been well used and aren't in great "collectible" condition. This one is, so I grabbed it. It is literally the only Buck in my collection. Right now it's still "new" to me so I'll hang on to it for a little while. Try me in a month or so. ridgegrass@hotmail.com
Maybe we can trade or whatever.
Regards, J.O'.
Thank You Leon...Ole Joe Clark wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 1:58 am Jmh58: Pretty knives, I don't have a bone handled one, but I was promised a set of deer antlers, I gotta pick them out myself.
Have a blessed day,

Collectors do so intentionally, I was merely looking for the best EDC for my lifestyle. I did prefer Buck, not so much anymore.treefarmer wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 2:22 am mariniao61,
Seems to me you are already a collector with all those Bucks!

I'm inclined to agree. The 300 series knives have been in production for so long that there are probably many owners, whether a knife enthusiast or not, who have carried one for decades. My boss at work showed me his 303 approximately 15 years ago and it had some age on it then. I assume he still carries it but I don't know that for sure.knifeaholic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 11:38 pm Looking at all these, it strikes me that it is a real shame that Buck seems to be gradually getting rid of the 300 series.
It may be worse than we thought - just out of curiosity I searched both Ebay and Amazon for new current production 301's and 303's...zip/zero/nada on both sites.Railsplitter wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 3:36 amI'm inclined to agree. Change of course, is inevitable but I agree that this is a shame. The 300 series knives are icons in the Buck lineup.
I recently acquired a list of Buck knives discontinued for 2022. There are 22 models on the list and fortunately, the 301 and 303 are not among them.knifeaholic wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 11:46 pm It may be worse than we thought - just out of curiosity I searched both Ebay and Amazon for new current production 301's and 303's...zip/zero/nada on both sites.
Yes to both questions.harryekarmun wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 4:03 am does buck make any of the 300s ? are some of them made in china ?
