Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Got this today along with a Canal Street, a Boker, a Winchester whittler and a Shouse & Hardin "Gambler". I really like the rough stag on this one. My Buck collection is by far my largest and have always been a Buck fan. I own the majority of the fixed blade models, most of the 100 series folders as well as the 300 series and a few 500 series and keep adding... ::facepalm::

At first glance I thought it was Elk. .But a nice example of a very cool folder.
