Does anyone know what year Buck started making the 302 Solitaire? It has a single blade, black handles, and is 3 7/8" closed. Any information on this knife would be very helpful. Thanks... (Photo from Buck Knives)

Re: Buck 302 Solitaire
Mike, I found some information stating that the official release date was to be January 11, 2011 but that info was posted in late December, 2010 so it may have ended up being a different date.

Here's a 302 Solitaire in rosewood with the blue "Buck" shield. I have a couple Buck slipjoints in this style. This one was a factory second (my guess is because of the rough cut around the shield).

Re: Buck 302 Solitaire
Here is a photo of one I used to own, a 2010 knife with smooth yellow Delrin handles. The Buck 302 Solitaire's that I have handled seem to have much better snap than most of the current 300 series knives exhibit. OH
