Let's See Your 112s!

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

Thanks Dogg. The 112 was made in FEB 2020. Had to find the box to find the date; Buck doesn't stamp the date code on the blade of custom runs any longer, just an etched logo. OH

Thank you Dogg, it was an SFO available through C&C (Copper & Clad - a division of Shepherd HIlls Cutlery). Buck has suspended doing SFO's through C&C and SK Blades. Don't know when and if that will return but for a while there were some really good limited run Buck Knives on the market. BB

Redrider, that S30V version with Micarta scales is a top quality knife - I have the 110 Slim Pro and love carrying it (and it gets carried regularly).

Thanks, O.H.! I've got the 110 Slim too, they are very pocket friendly. ::tu::

Bastler, that is a fine collection of many variations of the Buck 112 you have there. Which is your preferred to use? OH

Thanks. Most days I carry the garden-variety wood and brass 112.

Some fine 112's on show here. The first 112 I got was by default, I went in to buy a 110 but the shop was out of stock so ended with the 112 and now I have several.
Two on show here my 'working' 112 and one I customized after discovering the 112 blade is very similar to a Lanny's Clip.

That is amazing, Derek! I don't work on knives but that looks like it took a lot of work. Very nicely done.

You know, I've never made the connection between the 112 clip blade and the clip blade on a Lanny's Clip but I certainly do see it now that you mentioned it.
