Oh, that's nice! That Red Phenolic is cool. I've been tempted a few times to substitute a Red Phenolic handle into my set, when a Cherry wood model wasn't available.Old Hunter wrote:My latest, a Buck 102 Woodsman - standard in every way except for the deep red phenolic handle - just wanted one (I blame eveled!). Good luck on the Red 118. I built the Cherry wood set mostly from the Buck web site. Check "web specials"&"limited edition" daily. The products are the same everyday, then all of a sudden they change, then sell out quick. " Buck of the month" is fun too, although none have tripped my trigger. Copper and Clad is great too.
I've been working on a sambar stag set too, but it's been slow going.
Extreme patience is necessary.
