Doug, I need some new boots. Can I get you to do a pair in size 12½ ?

Don't waste your time. I'm not sure I have that much time left.

Cool boot!
Here's one I did several years ago out of Cherry.
Actually, me and another guy carved 146 of these. Twelve dozen were turned into keychains and sold to an area western store and we kept one apiece. The first 10 or so were fun, the rest, not so much and neither of us has carved one since.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I had a lot of fun with this one. Can't wait to carve another, but not 146 of them! WB: wow! and all out of Cherry to boot! I bet that carved hard. I like to carve and whittle but only if I feel like it. Otherwise it wouldn't be half as much fun.

Yeah, it stops being fun when it goes from a "get to" to a "have to."Doug51 wrote:Thanks for the compliments guys. I had a lot of fun with this one. Can't wait to carve another, but not 146 of them! Yep, it was those doggone specs and deadlines that messed everything up. But too, it was the Cherry wood and guaranteed delivery that sealed the deal. Sooo...
