Case Carving Knives

Does anyone know if Case makes a carving knife with a carbon steel blade?

The older 6380 Big Whittlers from the 1970's are real nice ::tu:: , and do have carbon steel blades, I believe. As for current case knives, I have often wondered why they don't seem to offer their whittler patterns in CV. ::shrug:: I have taken a large stockman, amber bone CV, and reshaped the blades to carve with. I do like their CV blades, they sharpen up well. And the nice part is, the amber bone CV seems to be a standard line, so they are always readily available.

You know, you got me thinkin', I really like their Seahorse Whittler pattern, but have yet to find one that was made in CV? If anyone knows of one, please give a holler.
