mermaid releif

Mahogany deep relief carving of a mermaid. Idea from Chip Chats magazine. carved in 2003 by mostly power. 8 1/4 inches wide by 9 1/4 high 1 1/4 inch thick. mahogany dust makes the back of my hands break out but a pleasure to work with. First with flash. The second or darker picture is more color correct for indoor lighting, LED daylight table lamp bulb.

My daughter, a.k.a. The Little Mermaid, would love that....when she was a kid, she could recite the entire dialog in that movie. And frequently did, through all the many, many watchings of it! Nice work. ::tu::
