Just received and email update regarding an estate sale upcoming this Thursday.
This sword will be sold.......hopefully to me.

About 1975 I bought one that looks identical, sheath and all. They were sold in some kind if import store, new and cheap (15? Dollars).

I would have to agree with Mel, a import of some kind, not too valuable. If your auctions go like ours around here, it will probably bring more than it's worth. just my opinion though, Terry

Looks to be of Indian(the country)origin.The red velour on the scabbard is the giveaway;sort of like a red background on e-Bay pictures.
