Identify this sword ?

Just received and email update regarding an estate sale upcoming this Thursday.
This sword will be sold.......hopefully to me.

Wondering if anybody can tell me anything so I know what I'm buying....

About 1975 I bought one that looks identical, sheath and all. They were sold in some kind if import store, new and cheap (15? Dollars).

I would have to agree with Mel, a import of some kind, not too valuable. If your auctions go like ours around here, it will probably bring more than it's worth. ::handshake:: just my opinion though, Terry

Looks to be of Indian(the country)origin.The red velour on the scabbard is the giveaway;sort of like a red background on e-Bay pictures.
