U.S & German World War I & II Military Knives
I like collecting WW II era U.S. and German Military knives.
I would like to see any knives others here might have in their collection.
Here is an unused WWII era Camillus, USMC fighting knife with scabbard.
Let`s see your old military knives

Thanks D.
Here's a First Special Forces pocket knife that belonged to my wife's uncle. He was killed by a booby trapped pistol near the end of 44 in France. We're still trying to figure out what outfit he was with.
In case any body is wondering, the phillips screwdriver was used to tighten their ski bindings.

Yes, I did. I only wish there was some sort of mark. It is definite though it will fit a small frame 5 inch revolver. I don't remember the Police ever wearing an apparatus that would accept a web belt hanger. I will look that thread up and post the url to here also.

The way things are in my world right now, if they were selling tugboats for 100 bucks a piece, I'd have to just stand on the levy with my hands in my pockets and say, "DAMN that's cheap!"

Re: U.S & German World War II Military Knives
Yours appears to be an LF&C, Is it the hard to find one with the extra knob on the bottom.
Do you have the bottom iron piece also.
I'm sure you have one but if you don't I think I have a photo of what that sheath looks like if you would like to have it redone or use what you have as a pattern for a remake with the leather and all from scratch. Then keep them all together with the partial genuine article.

Re: U.S & German World War II Military Knives
Moss,
I do not have the bottom piece, I wish I did. A few years ago there were some reproduction sheaths on the market. I should have bought a few. They were very close to the original.
I have yet to find one of these knives with an intact original sheath. Do you know where I can find one?

Great knife . Ulster made a similar pattern for the Canadian forces in WWII. Is your knife made by Ulster or another company?Owd Wullie wrote:Thanks D.

Could your wife's uncle have been with the 10th Mountain Division? These Ulster knives are often called 10th Mountain Div knives. They are not as common as other WW2 pocket knives.

It's possible, we are going to try to get a copy of his service record. No one in the family is left that knows for sure. I've not found his name in any of the records on the web.greyelm wrote:Owd Wullie wrote:Thanks D.

Great Knives Dmitri!!
I've got an old trench knife that somebody cut the knuckle guard off of. It was a "barn find" many years ago.
Here ya go S-K, it's an ULSTER.
Sorry I didn't answer sooner but I've been out of town for a week.
