Fox and Pheasant

Check this out friends, the artist who made this lives in Washington state. He did the engraving on the head and the carving on the handle. It is awsome and sadly not mine. It belongs to Waytho50. Also an AAPK member who collects axes and marbles products. He has another on its way that has a buck engraved. I will post it when he gets it.

That is really unique! Carved and engraved, great talent. I guess they don't split kindlin' with that pretty thing.

Philip, I dont think it will be used to split kindling. I wanted to sink the tip into a stump but I didn't dare. The artist also did the leather work. Here it is

Looks like the artisan sells on eBay. Here is one of his that sold recently (you have to scroll down a bit to see it): Carved Hatchet

They sure are nice.
