Complete with instructions. Reminded me of the old poem:
" I eat my peas with honey;I've done it all my life
It may sound kind of funny but it keeps them on my knife"
Apparently people would actually eat peas with a knife. I've always used a fork and occasionally a spoon when I had been imbibing in adult beverages
Anyway here it is in all it's glory. Probably came from a joke & novelty shop in the 1930's or 40's
Here is a,"different' one...............

Reminds me of an old funny poem:
I eat my peas with honey
I've done so all my life
It may taste rather funny
but it keeps them on my knife

I've done so all my life
It may taste rather funny
but it keeps them on my knife

That is absolutely the best thing I have read in a week. Or more.

My mother always told us to eat every potato and ....... pea on our plate.

Re: Here is a,"different' one...............
I remember seeing a very old black and white cartoon where a man tipped up a knife and the peas rolled off.
