Richartz is a German brand, generally inexpensive. Same family owned Richards brand in Sheffield England. There are lots of posts with examples which can be found here by using the keyword search found under Quicklinks on the upper left of this thread. Here one example viewtopic.php?f=30&t=24602

Best source for current value is an advanced search of eBay sold listings for the item, in this case “Richartz knife”.

Richartz knives are (were ?) made in Germany & England. Yours shows a British crown so was made in England. The "925" refers to the handles being 92.5% silver. These markings might indicate a knife made for British Military use but i am not sure about this so i hope someone more knowledgeable posts.
Age i don't know but it is not a knife made in the last few years.
It is a collectible knife to those who collect multi-blade knives and it is not a commonly seen knife so it has some value.
I will follow this thread in the hope to learn more.

I would be interested in knowing more about the 925. Those covers do not look like sterling or any other kind of silver to me.

I agree but "925" is the universally recognized marking for 92.5% silver so it would be odd to stamp in on a different metal.
Am i correct that this is likely a British made Richartz ?
I would like to learn about this knife as well.

For some reason I thought the sterling stamp had a 'period' in front of the 925, eg. .925, as in 92.5 % silver, or .925 parts silver. I also thought that a British knife with sterling silver would have a series of hallmarks as well with further identifications, but perhaps that would just refer to sterling silver blades.

The Crescent and Crown is a German hallmark for silver with the 925 being the purity (as Roland mentioned), the decimals must not be required in the German form. Pretty cool to have silver handles on a multiblade. The discoloring is likely some pretty heavy tarnish.

It's a modern knife, still shows up on Amazon's German site as discontinued:

Pretty bad translation in the description but you get the message LOL.
