Camillus 4 line ,what model ,pattern #
Camillus 4 line ,what model ,pattern #
Received this Camillus 4 line from a member here . Curiosity got the best of me here? What’s the deal with the shape of the covers. Does anyone know if there’s a pattern or model # for this particular piece. It’s 3 inches long closed. The covers seem like a man made composite of some kind . Kind of like Camillus Pyroxylin .Solid piece and both blade and tool have half stop. Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks .

It is a Buck Rogers spaceship figural. All the color decoration is gone from the scales.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Sorry, I have no model number on it. It was also released with red print. This is the information I have in my notes. This info was from a live auction site back in 2017 or 18. I did not purchase this knife but saved the information for posterity.
1935 Camillus Buck Rogers Knife
3-1/8" long with celluloid grips and a short screwdriver/opener blade and a longer 2-3/8" spear point blade. Produced by Adolf Castor. Released in 1935 as both a store item and a Cream Of Wheat premium. Each grip features same design with Buck at the controls of a rocket ship.
The Red print knife pictures are the one from the auction site.
