We found this amongst my grandfather's possessions when he passed.
Just curious if anybody has any information on it or knows of its value.
Thanks 😁

Just a guess, c.1930's souvenir, German made. Some folks collect those from all over. I'm not much for values but my guess a pretty good price would be around $25. Who knows, it's a strange market these days.Good luck with it. J.O'.

J.O. gave a good summary. It’s a tourist souvenir knife, not much value except perhaps to someone who has been to the location commemorated by the knife, or to,someone who collects tourist knives. I think I see “Solingen” in the tang stamp (Solingen is a knife making center in Germany where many knife makers operate), but can’t read the rest. If you use the graphite “lead” end of a pencil and rub it across the stamp it will remove some of the tarnish and highlight the letters without damaging the knife. That should make it legible.

Welcome to AAPK.

Welcome to AAPK!
You have already received sound advice on the knife. I suggest that the greatest value of that knife is sentimental. Whether your Grandfather visited that town in Canada, or bought it just to use as a knife, the fact that it belonged to him is what matters.
I hope that it brings you happy memories to own it!

It appears to have REICO on the main blade. I believe this would indicate the knife was made in Germany. Here is a link to another REICO knife similar to yours....
