Mystery Empire Lockback knife
I've had an lock back knife it has the inscription Empire on the blade can anyone tell anything about this object not familiar with knifes. The blade is 3 1/2 iches in length.

I don't think that's the same Empire as the old Empire Knife Company. Completely different tang stamp, plus it's upside down. Pins appear to be steel, or are the bolsters brass? Neither would be representative of Empire's knives as far as I know.

Eric and Bill are right. Sorry about sending you off on the wrong track. Looking at the knife on my computer laptop (instead of my phone) it appears to be more cheaply constructed than the old Empire brand I originally referenced.
