Welcome to AAPK. Nice old knife from a historic maker! There are a great many posts here about Empire Knife Co., which can be found by using the “Search” function (found by clicking on “Quicklinks” on the upper left). Scroll down to Search, click that, enter the keyword “Empire” and submit. ::tu:: Here’s one such thread about Empire https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... 302#p15689

I don't think that's the same Empire as the old Empire Knife Company. Completely different tang stamp, plus it's upside down. Pins appear to be steel, or are the bolsters brass? Neither would be representative of Empire's knives as far as I know.

Eric and Bill are right. Sorry about sending you off on the wrong track. Looking at the knife on my computer laptop (instead of my phone) ::facepalm:: it appears to be more cheaply constructed than the old Empire brand I originally referenced.
