Cutrite? Tang Stamp on an Ulster #63
Just picked up this knife - unmistakably the Ulster #63 pattern, 1960's era, many were made both with the Ulster and CRAFTSMAN marks.
This one is tang stamped CUTRITE.
I know from searching here that there are Solingen knives marked Cutrite, but this one is definitely a US made Ulster.
Any thoughts as to what company used this mark and contracted Imperial Schrade to make them?

Cut-Rite is a trade mark of Reynolds Aluminum for their brand of wax paper and aluminum foil rolls.

Steve they were made for the Utility Blade Company of NJ, I believe in the 1950's or 60's. Not sure on those dates. Utility made razor blades.

VERY INTERESTING!!!
Thanks so much, Eric.
Given how popular this pattern is with the folks here on AAPK, I'm sure that others will be glad to have this info as well.

My pleasure Steve! You're definitely right about the info, it's not a stamp that you see very often.

Old Timer kitchen knives?!! Why didn't I know about these before?
Re: Cutrite? Tang Stamp on an Ulster #63
I don't believe there's a Schrade connection. The knife's an Ontario and most likely earlier than the first Schrade Old Timers. However, it's worth mentioning that most Luxrites were Schrades or Ulsters so it could be possible they special ordered some Ontario Old Hickory knives as Old Timers for them. This is the only one I've seen.
