Sheffield Mfg. brand made from China?

Is this brand "Sheffield Mfg." from China? There is no info on the blade.

I cannot give you a definitive answer, but i have a made in China Buck Canoe, and it has laminated wood scales, like a ply wood, and the scales on your knife look similar.

In a word:"YES" That particular one is a knockoff of a KA-BAR 1184.I usually see them paired with a multi-tool with similar handles.

“Sheffield Mfg” sounds like an attempt to capitalize on the reputation of Sheffield England knives. Just as German cutleries used anglicized names to market their knives.

The sheath quality can indicate where knife comes from. Sheath shown above looks to have poor quality leather and could even be 're-constituted leather'. If so this indicates China or Pakistan.
