Hello Carl1944, ::welcome:: to AAPK!
Your knife is a 2003 Case medium stockman as oldergogs1 stated.
The CV stands for Chrome Vanadium, The SS stands for Stainless steel or surgical steel, a bit strange to have a knife with mixed steel blades, that is SS and CV, I think. ::hmm:: Maybe the fact that the spay blade is SS for veterinary work. That's a new on on me. Hopefully some one will come by that has the answer.

EDIT:

What I wrote concerning mixed steels is still true but I just realized the SS blade is on a different knife. I need to pay closer attention, sorry. :oops:

Welcome to AAPK.

Your post doesn’t say what tang stamp chart you are looking at or where, but the stamp on your knife can be found in the Case tang stamp chart in the Research section here on AAPK (accessible in the header at the top of the page). https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/co ... ification/
